Le Château has been a Canadian retailer that I have loved for many years. Not only are they always on trend, but they have beautiful classics stocked in their stores also. It was a store I purchased my very first ‘office outfit’ from many years ago! Memories…

I had recently been chosen to be Le Château’s Footwear Ambassador (cue squealing) and couldn’t be more excited about it!  Each month, for the next year, I’ll be sharing what I’ve been coveting and then purchased in their stores.

As we roll into November and are fully emerged in our Canadian autumn weather, I decided that my purchase for this month needed to be one that was practical, comfortable and stylish. Who says you can’t have it all?

This month, I couldn’t resist picking up these beautiful Franco Sarto riding boots. Can you blame me? Leather, black, small heel and over-the-knee — does it get any better?

These boots scream effortlessly chic. The small heel makes them not only practical for running around, but when paired with black leather (one of fall’s hottest trends) and the elastic panels to make the boots easy to slide off (while still looking good), I was sold.

When worn, the boots are beautifully fitted to your legs, too. No gaps that circulate around your calves. Perfect!

This will easily be worn over skinny jeans or leggings, and  when done right, a skirt, too. Versatility at it’s finest.
