With winter temperatures showing no mercy at -25 degrees, and months of snow and icy cold days ahead, I’m ready to bundle up all-day, everyday. As a woman that is perpetually cold all-year round, seeking warm, snuggly pieces to keep me heated are essential in my wardrobe.
In past, I’ve always been a sweater and trousers kind of gal. I figured I would be warmer with my limbs fully covered. This year, however, I’m constantly seeking the comfort and ease of a sweater dress. Not only are they incredibly warm (the one pictured actually made me sweat when I tried it on the in change-room!), but I love that they are roomy and can be worn casually (think a blanket scarf and sneakers or ankle boots), or dressed up to be made more refined (thigh-high boots, heels, or even a vest would look great).Dress: Club Monaco, Shoes: Givenchy Shark Boots (old, similar here),
Clutch: Store On Queen.
This piece from Club Monaco in particular caught my eye. It’s incredibly soft and I find myself constantly grabbing for it. While I’m wearing it with nude tights here, I could easily opt for leggings or opaque tights to create different looks. I decided to wear it with my Givenchy shark-boots and I loved the idea of creating a monochromatic look. The clutch is a fun pop of colour.
